The College of the Third Age is thirty years old this year, and has served thousands of learners in Minnesota during this time. Believing that learning is an ongoing, lifelong adventure, Augsburg College of the Third Age provides opportunities for older adults to expand their knowledge, thinking, and engagement in the community through faculty-led instruction in the liberal arts, fine arts, theology, and social sciences. College of the Third Age provides educational opportunities at more than 200 sites.
All of College of the Third Age is about access: cost-accessible, easily accessed by people with mobility limitations, accessible to a wide-range of academic levels, and is available on request. In addition, the College of the Third Age courses are made available to learners in remote sites throughout the area.
